Silkroad's Global Musician Workshop 2022

I had the utmost pleasure of attending the Silkroad's Global Musician Workshop 2022, where I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting and making music with some of the most profound musicians of our time. We rehearsed, engaged in thoughtful conversations and shared meals, sharing our musical experiences and journeys. The workshop culminated in a two-night performance festival in New England Conservatory's dazzling Jordan Hall:

Composition

This is a piece I've composed for Tambour (ancient Iranian/Kurdish lute).

 

Recording

I arranged and performed a piece from Maestro Alinezhad for 3 Tambours, a Baglama and 2 Dafs.
